Around 35 ASEZ university student volunteers hosted a West Philadelphia park cleanup in partnership with District 3 Councilwoman Jannie Blackwell. The event was part of their Reduce Crime Together initiative.
Donors gave blood at the 2018 Mega Blood Drive for the Passover. This blood drive in Jenkintown took place on the first Sunday of three consecutive Sundays in which the 2018 Mega Blood Drive was held at 12 different locations along the East Coast.
Church members cleaned up Frankford Transportation Center as part of the “Mother’s Street” cleanup movement. The campaign took place in 175 countries and 6,000 regions simultaneously.
Church of God volunteers take care of the world God has given to all creation by organizing cleanups and plantings. In addition to protecting the environment though these activities, they also raise awareness and educate the community about current environmental issues through forums and tabling events.
One way to share love is to donate blood. The Church of God hosts these life-saving events to better equip blood banks and hospitals to save patients in desperate need of blood transfusions. With just one donation, you can save up to three lives!
No one knows when or in what form disaster will strike. However, many Church of God volunteers have been trained in emergency preparedness. Volunteers do their best to assist the community when help is needed most.
Sometimes, a smile is all you need to brighten up your day. Through various social welfare events and activities that support the community at large, volunteers hope to inspire a sense of joy and love.
The World Mission Society Church of God partners with local and national government offices and officials to further the work done in communities where the Church of God is located.
