Second Coming Jesus and the New Name

Three Names of God

God devised a plan for redemption, highlighting the significance of His name.

“‘Because he loves me,’ says the Lord, ‘I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.’”

Psalm 91:14

God promises to rescue and protect those who acknowledge His name. Therefore, understanding and proclaiming the name of the Savior is crucial for salvation. The prophecies of the Old Testament foretell of the place where God’s name will be recognized and proclaimed in the last days.

“So the name of the Lord will be declared in Zion ...”

In the New Testament, Apostle John indicates a group of people who have God’s name written on them and stand with him in Zion, the city of God’s Feasts (Isa 33:20).

“Then I looked, and there before me was the Lamb, standing on Mount Zion, and with him 144,000 who had his name and his Father’s name written on their foreheads.”

The book of Revelation was written after Jesus Christ already ascended to Heaven. For this reason, the name of God the Father written on His people must be the name of the Second Coming Christ. The Bible testifies that Second Coming Christ will come with a new name.

“‘I am coming soon … I will write on them my new name … let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches.’”

The Holy Spirit is Second Coming Christ who appears with a new name in Zion, the city of God’s feasts. As the feasts of God were abolished in the Dark Ages, God must appear again to restore them and establish Zion (Heb 9:28). Christ Ahnsahnghong is Jesus who came again with a new name as prophesied. He testified to the feasts of God and established Zion where God’s people proclaim His new name.
