Preaching the Gospel & Responsibility

Those who feel a sense of responsibility for the gospel are owners. Those who don’t carry that responsibility are like guests. Jesus illustrated this in the Parable of the Talents (Mt 25:14–30), where the servant who hid what he was given was corrected for not making use of it.

The Apostle Paul described himself as a minister of the gospel—the New Covenant (Col 1:23). In the same way, God’s children who share the gospel with dedication and care show that they are true owners.
