Beliefs

The Bible Is the Standard of the Church of God’s Beliefs

God promises blessing and salvation to the people of God who have faith to obey God’s words.

He replied, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it.”

Very truly I tell you, whoever obeys my word will never see death.”

Hearing God’s words and putting them into practice, is one of the most fundamental aspects of a believer’s life, this is why Apostle Paul testified that faith can only come from hearing what comes from God.

“Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.”

Jesus Christ delivered the message of the Kingdom to the disciples continuously and showed them an example of correct faith. That message included the Sabbath (Lk 4:16), Passover (Lk 22:15; 22), and the Feasts of God (Acts 2:1; Jn 7:2). Additionally, he provided instructions on women wearing veils (1 Co 11:1-6) during worship and emphasized the importance of baptism (Mt 28:18-20) in the three names of the Savior. Today, the World Mission Society Church of God upholds these same beliefs established by Jesus at his first coming.
