Faith & Obedience

Though faith is invisible, we can recognize those who have faith by their obedience. When faith is present, obedience follows. God’s people with faith set aside their own thoughts and experiences to follow His path, leading to abundant blessings (Dt 28:1-6). On the other hand, when people rely on their own understanding and experiences, disobedience follows, resulting in curses (Dt 28:15-19).

God’s people are called to let go of what causes disobedience, knowing that He always has blessings for those who follow His commands. He watches closely the depth of their obedience, for the path of obedience is the path to blessings.

The Law of God and the Fruit of Thoughts

Thoughts hold great power. Good thoughts lead to good outcomes, while bad thoughts bring bad results. In the same way, how people regard God’s laws determines whether they receive blessings or face disaster.

How To Recognize Christ

Q: How could the disciples recognize Jesus even though His name is not found in the Old Testament?
A: The name “Jesus” is not recorded in the Old Testament. Even if the name “Jesus” was in the Old Testament, people would not believe in Him just because His name is Jesus. For example, 2,000 years ago “Jesus” was a common name in Israel (Col 4:11). Therefore, the name “Jesus” alone is not enough evidence to testify to the Christ.
